Kaylani is not looking forward to spending her summer on Martha's Vineyard with a former best friend, named London and her older sister Cassie. While they had been good friend when they were little, after London's family moved away, they really lost touch. Still, when their grandparents offer to take Kaylani for the summer, the two girls have no choice. And Kaylani can tell, they don't like it. Right away, London wants to leave Kaylani behind, but when she is forced to bring Kaylani to a beach party that ends in tradgedy, Kaylani realizes there are things going on in this perfect family that just don't seem quite right. The only issue is, she might die trying to figure it all out!
